Julianne Moore

Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is a Hollywood actor and writer who has been recognized for her talents. Sagittarius, she was born at the state of North Carolina on 3 December 1960. She's the eldest of three children that were the children of Peter Moore Smith (a paratrooper) and Anne Smith, who is a psychologist. She's English as well as Scottish. Because of her father's work, the Moore family often relocated and she was unable to form friendships, or to keep ones. The family moved to Germany Moore was a student at Frankfurt American High School where she started appearing in productions. Following the completion of the requirements for her B.F.A. from Boston University in 1983, Moore continued to seek further studies. She graduated in 1983 with a B.F.A. Following graduation, Moore began her off-Broadway career in New York. Her first appearance was in an episode of The Edge of Night, which was telecast on the network in 1985. She played the dual role of Sabrina Hughes and Frannie Hughes in the show As the World Turns the show that marked her debut. She was on As the World Turns from 1986 until 1988. As a result of her character she was awarded an Daytime Emmy Award. Her debut movie appearance was Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. The film was later criticized as a poor budget production. Short Cuts (1993), 3 Women (1997), and both were directed by Robert Altman. The critically acclaimed performance of her in Short Cuts (1993) earned her several nominations. Moore's first leading role was on screen in Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg gave Moore her first leading role in Safe (1995). The year 1997 was when her career as this actress reached a pivotal moment. Moore was chosen to play the lead role in Jurassic Park: The Lost World. The movie was one of the most popular films in 1997. In 1999 she starred in the critically acclaimed Magnolia and was awarded an SAG nomination for her performance. The Hours starred Moore in 2002. It was also nominated by Nine Academy Awards along with Nicole Kidman. Moore has also been seen in The Forgotten (2003), Freedomland (2005), Shelter (2010) and many other films. She was also in Non-Stop (2014). Moore has been featured in many movies and television shows. Her most recent prominent roles was In 2022: When You Finish Securing the World. In Hollywood as well, she has become a published author for kids. The first novel she wrote Freckleface Strawberry was published in 2007 and became an instant bestseller in the The New York Times. This best-seller was turned into a movie, series and even a musical. In 2013, she published Her Mom is A Foreigner. As a well-achieved actress and author Moore's personal life is public domain. She was a bridesmaid to John Robin from 1984 until 1995. Bart Freundlich is the father of two children. Moore's career, friends and family are the most important things in her life.
